Professional Experience
During my time as a Graphic Designer at Switchback Foods, I worked on a wide range of visual projects supporting the company’s marketing and brand presence. I created static images and GIFs formatted for Instagram and Facebook, including social media posts, review ads, 1920×1080 promotional graphics, and website imagery.
Additional projects included one-pagers, infographics, notecards, envelope designs, and materials such as circle invites. Using Figma as my primary design tool, I made sure all assets followed brand guidelines while meeting platform-specific requirements and deadlines.
What I Learned
Working at Switchback Foods gave me my first experience collaborating with a startup business, where flexibility, communication, and efficiency were important. I regularly used Microsoft Teams for communication, feedback, and virtual meetings, working closely with the Social Media Manager and the Co-Founder who oversaw the design department.
This role strengthened my ability to manage deadlines, adapt to fast-paced workflows, and design for multiple formats and audiences. I also expanded my skills by creating both static and animated content, including GIFs optimized for social media platforms.
