Professional Experience
During my time as a intern at Level Data, I developed a wide range of digital design projects that supported the company’s K–12 data management solutions. I worked closely with the company's marketing team and collaborated with other designers to produce both static and motion-based work.
These projects included video templates, validation headers and banners, Glimpse headers and banners, validation white papers, product pages, and a validation case study. I also created GIFs and videos using provided footage, transforming static concepts into engaging visual content while meeting brand and project requirements.
What I Learned
During my time at Level Data I used Figma for the first time in a professional setting, allowing me to quickly learn industry-standard design process and collaborative file management. I gained experience working within a design team, receiving feedback, changes on designs, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communication was a key part of the process, as Microsoft Teams was used daily for team messaging, project updates, and video calls. Through this experience, I strengthened my skills in time management, collaboration, and adapting designs to fit both technical content and marketing goals.

Conclusion
My experience at Level Data helped improve my academic design background with real-world professional practice. Working on a variety of projects from static images to animated GIFs and videos. This gave me a deeper understanding of how design supports product storytelling and user engagement.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, learning new tools like Figma, and consistently meeting deadlines prepared me for future roles in graphic design and visual communication while strengthening the importance of teamwork and clear communication in a professional setting.
